Challenge
Because of it’s twentieth birthday, S.M.A.K. Ghent presents “The Collection (I): Highlights for a Future” with around 200 works from her entire collection. S.M.A.K. asked us to provide some small movies for this new exhibition.
Approach
For this project we went to S.M.A.K together with 7 well-known Flemish people who could choose their favorite piece of art. We selected their best quotes and made a short 30” and a longer 2’ version for each of them.
Later on the communication manager of S.M.A.K asked us to turn 3 video’s into 15” TV-commercials, next to a brand new video with the curator/director of the museum Philippe Van Cauteren, in which he appealed to the population to apply for a piece of art in their homes.
