Sakharov Prize

Challenge

The European Parliament supports human rights through the annual Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. The prize is awarded to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the fight for human rights.

Our approach

The challenge of this project was to work with a limited budget (50k) to awaken the illusion that we filmed on three different international locations namely Argentina, Russia and Afghanistan. Besides that, with a hundred extras and a special effects-team, we managed to simulate explosions to stage the protest movements.
